Launched QJ Smile, Modern Dental Group’s own clear aligner brand that provides expedited orthodontic treatment for milder cases of dental misalignment, in Mainland China.
Entered an exclusive strategic partnership with Meitu, Inc. to provide QJ Smile to consumers directly.

Started strategic cooperation with Arrail Group to enhance the collaboration in clear aligner business in Mainland China.

Swift Dental Laboratory was acquired to expand the existing sales and distribution network in the Australian market.

Researched and developed TrioClear, Modern Dental Group's own Clear Aligner brand. Officially launched in Germany, France, Netherland, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

HuaXi was set up in China, to develop our business in the manufacturing and trading of MEDIT intra-oral scanner.

DD Dental was acquired to provide services to German clients.

MDLSG was set up in Singapore, to provide customer and technical support.

CDi was acquired to provide services to Swedish clients.

Schmidt was acquired to develop our business in the trading of dental prosthetic devices in the market of Denmark.

Yangzhijin Dental Laboratory (Shenzhen) was awarded China High Integrity Enterprise Excellence Award (中國誠信經營優秀企業).

Yangzhijin Dental Laboratory (Shenzhen) was awarded Top Ten Brand for Prosthetics in China (中國義齒十大知名品牌) issued by Chinese Consumer Rights Protection Center and Chinese brand Promotion Association.

MDLCL obtained ISO 13485:2003 international quality management systems certification for production and distribution of dental prosthesis.

Our production line was moved to Shiling Industrial Zone, Xili Town, Nanshan, Shenzhen where a new production facility was built.
